Gender and Finance Summit 2022

One of the highlight of DOF’s celebration of the 2022 National Women’s Month was the conduct of Gender and Finance Summit 2022 wherein the DOF have partnered with several government agencies under the finance sector to present and discuss their programs, researches, financial products and services that caters the need of Filipino women and men. During the Opening Remarks of the Central Administration Office (CAO) and GFPS Executive Committee Member, Director Alvin P. Diaz, he said that “Over the years, more women are becoming financially literate and have access to savings, insurance, investment, and other financial products and services. But we in public service would like to ensure that we continually developed and deliver gender-responsive programs that are accessible and tailored fit to the needs of all Filipino women and men. If gender mainstreaming is sustained in our policies, programs, and projects, we are halfway through achieving gender equality and financial inclusion.”
