A webinar on Public Spaces Act (Republic Act No. 11313) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations was held on December 3, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, as part of DOF’s program in support of the observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW). This webinar was participated by 20 female and 6 male DOF employees. The subject matter expert, Atty. Eric Paul D. Peralta presented actual cases that served as examples to help the participants better understand the differences between RA 11313 and RA 7877, and other relevant laws. Atty. Peralta also provided information on where to file complaints, the process and procedures, and the penalties imposed.
