Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, on behalf of the Philippine Government, and the Ambassador of France to the Philippines Michele Boccoz, on behalf of the French Government, sign the EUR 250 million credit facility agreement for the Disaster Risk Reduction Enhancement at the Local Level (DRREALL) Program.

Secretary Dominguez and Ambassador Boccoz were joined by Mr. Laurent Klein, Country Director for the Philippines Agende Française de Développement (AFD), Finance Undersecretary Mark Joven, and Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Marlo Iringan.

The DRREALL Program aims to support the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in devolving disaster risk reduction and management, and climate change mandate and services to the local government units (LGUs). This program will strengthen the capability of LGUs in addressing disaster risk and reduction management (DRRM) situations and challenges.
