LANDBANK Chair Frederick D. Go welcomed the state-run Bank’s dividend declaration of PHP 32.35 billion to the National Government, reaffirming its role as a key partner in nation-building and its commitment to Filipinos.
Dividends are a major source of non-tax revenues for the national government to fund priority programs and projects without the need to impose new taxes.
“LANDBANK’s continuous support and strong performance proves why it is and will always be a steadfast partner of the government in our mission to improve the lives of Filipinos,” Secretary Frederick Go said.
The dividend reflects the Bank’s robust profitability and sustained ability to deliver meaningful support for national development.
Government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) are mandated under Republic Act No. 7656 or the Dividend Law to remit at least half of their annual net earnings to the National Government.
The Bank’s high dividend contribution is underpinned by its strongest performance to date. In 2025, the Bank’s net income rose by 24% to PHP 43.98 billion from PHP 35.36 billion in 2024, driven by broad-based loan growth, strengthened credit oversight, and disciplined risk management.
“LANDBANK’s dividend remittance is a deliberate investment in the country’s future. It strengthens the government’s capacity to fund critical programs that uplift communities, promote inclusive development, and expand economic opportunities, while enabling us to continue supporting agriculture and other priority sectors,” said LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz.
LANDBANK also closed 2025 with record balance sheet levels, reflecting its strengthened financial position. Total assets hit an unprecedented level at PHP 3.52 trillion, while capital stood at PHP 278.44 billion.
As of December 2025, the Bank grew its Agriculture, Fisheries, and Rural Development (AFRD) loan portfolio to PHP 896.61 billion, accounting for 53.5% of its total gross loan portfolio of PHP 1.68 trillion—affirming its role as the country’s leading credit provider to agriculture and rural communities.
