A 3-day workshop on Gender Analysis using the GMEF tool was held on September 15-17, 2021 represented by 32 female and 1 male DOF GFPS members. With the help of a GAD Expert, Ms. Marichu M. Buergo, the participants were able to reassess the gender mainstreaming performance of DOF. From 43.43 total score in 2018 to the current total score of 48.76 as of September 17, 2021, the gender mainstreaming efforts of DOF remains at Level 2: Installation of Strategic Mechanisms.
On April 1, 2022, a copy of the DOF-accomplished GMEF and its means of verifications (MOVs) were submitted to the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) for verification.
