Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go welcomed the launch of the Bureau of the Treasury’s (BTr) 32nd Tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB32), which expands Filipinos’ access to investment opportunities while supporting the country’s development.

“With investments starting at 5 thousand pesos, retail treasury bonds provide an accessible investment option for Filipinos. They allow individuals, including those who may be new to investing, to participate in the country’s financial markets and build their savings over time,” he said at the launch of the 32nd RTB on September 29, 2026.

The launch marks 25 years of the RTB program, which has raised more than PHP 6 trillion since 2001 to help finance national development.

RTBs are accessible and virtually risk-free investment instruments that are guaranteed by the entire financial capacity of the Philippine government.

For those new to investing, RTBs offer a simple way to get started. Over the years, the government has made investing easier through online platforms, mobile applications, and digital investment channels, allowing Filipinos to invest from their phones.

Secretary Frederick Go emphasized that as more Filipinos participate in the financial system, the government must continue building public confidence through responsible fiscal management, transparency, investor protection, and a secure digital financial system.

“Through strategic regulation, collaborative partnerships with the private sector, and aggressive digital innovation, we bridge the gap between everyday savers and institutional capital markets,” he said.

RTB32 is a 2.5-year tenor investment with a gross interest rate of 6.875% per annum, payable every quarter until its maturity in 2029.

The public offering will begin from September 29, 2026 until October 7, 2026, subject to the discretion of the BTr and will be issued on October 12, 2026.

Those interested can invest in RTB32 over-the-counter by visiting any of the authorized selling agents or through the BTr’s Online Ordering Facility and participating mobile banking platforms such as LANDBANK, OFBank, PDAX, GBonds via GCash, ATRAM Prime, ATRAM PERA, and RCBC Pulz.
