BIR Collection for October 2012 Grew by P 15.6 Billion

For the month of October 2012, the BIR collected Php 86.1 billion in tax revenues, Php 15.6 Billion or 22.13% more than collections made in October of 2011, and substantially meeting the BIR revenue target of P86.18 Billion for the month. For the period January to October 2012, the BIR collected Php 858.6 Billion in tax revenues, Php 101.81 Billion or 13.45% more than collections made for the period January to October of 2011.

For October 2012, collections from BIR operations amounted to Php 83 Billion, Php 13.76 Billion or 19.89% more than collections made in October of 2011. The October 2012 collections from BIR operations is also Php 0.57 Billion or 0.69% over the target of Php 82.4 Billion.

Collections from non-BIR operations amounted to Php 3.15 Billion, Php 1.84 Billion or 140.34% more than collections made in October of 2011. However, this is Php 0.65 Billion or 17.01% less than the goal set for non-BIR operations for the month.

Collections by the Regional Offices amounted to PhP 33 Billion, or Php 4.09 Billion or 14.13 % more than the goals set for October of 2012. Or Php 9.25 Billion or 38.95% more than the collections made in October of 2011, continuing with the trend of double digit growth being registered by the Regional Offices for this year.

Collections by the Large Taxpayer Service amounted to PhP 49.96 Billion, PhP 4.5 Billion or 9.93% more than collections made in October of 2011.
