For the month of January 2012, the BIR collected Php 85.15 billion in tax revenues, Php 80.69 billion from BIR operations and PhP 4.46 billion arising from non-BIR operations.
Compared to the collections in January 2011 when the BIR generated Php 74.57 billion, this year’s actual collections are ahead by Php 10.58 billion, or an increase of 14.19%.
