Finance Secretary Carlos G. Dominguez receives from Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Archie Francisco F. Gamboa a cheque in the amount of P228.45 million, which represents the collected cash donations of PNP uniformed and non-uniformed personnel for the government’s COVID-19 response efforts.
The PNP’s uniformed and non-uniformed personnel donated a portion of their salaries to raise the amount as part of the #TeamPNP Bayanihan Fund Challenge project that was launched last April 15, 2020.
The simple turn-over ceremony was held on Wednesday (May 6) at the Department of Finance Building in Manila.
