People’s Republic of China Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines Huang Xilian paid a courtesy visit to Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez on Thursday (December 12) to discuss and reiterate China’s commitment to further enhance its bilateral relations with the Philippines.
During the meeting, Ambassador Huang also committed to institutionalize the conduct of regular meetings between the Philippines and China to thresh out issues involving the Duterte administration’s big-ticket infrastructure and development projects that are being implemented with funding support from China. Both sides also agreed to heighten cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
