Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez delivered his keynote message today (Sept 16) before members of the Chongqing delegation and Filipino business community at the Philippines – China (Chongqing) Trade and Investment Forum organized by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and the Department of Trade and Industry in Conrad Hotel, Pasay City.
The Chongqing delegation was headed by Secretary Chen Min’er of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Secretary Dominguez said the Philippines offers the Chongqing delegation with a rich field of investment opportunities under a leadership that is committed to creating an environment more conducive to sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
Secretary Dominguez has also given credit to the foresight of both President Duterte and Chinese President Xi Jinping for the warm and productive bilateral ties as well as the improving prospects for mutually beneficial business partnerships between the Philippines and China.
