Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III and Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga of Japan seal with a handshake their commitment to continue discussions to swiftly address concerns regarding the preparation and implementation of the flagship projects that the Philippines is undertaking with Japanese funding support before the start of the fifth meeting of the Philippines-Japan Joint Committee on Infrastructure Development and Economic Cooperation at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tokyo on Wednesday,June 20, 2018. Secretary Dominguez and Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia headed the Philippine delegation that met with the Japanese side, which was led by Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga and Shigeru Kiyama, the special advisor to the Cabinet.
