The Secretary of Finance announced today that the Consolidated Public Sector Deficit (CPSD) registered a total of P109.9 billion, or 3.1% of GDP during the first semester of 2009.This was a reversal from the P48.4 billion surplus registered during the same period last year.
CY 2009-Q1 CPSD TOPICS : The Secretary of Finance today announced that public sector achieved a P47.3 billion deficit for the first quarter of 2009, equivalent to 2.7% of GDP.This amount is P29 billion higher than what was registered last year.
The Secretary of Finance announced today a surplus of P52.7 billion for the consolidated public sector as of the end of September 2007, a continuation of the trend started in 2006. The surplus is 1.1% of GDP.
PUBLIC SECTOR BALANCE-S1 2006 TOPICS : The Secretary of Finance announced today that the public sector improved its financial position for the period January to June of 2006 by registering a surplus of P13.4 billion, or 0.5% of GDP.The public sector’s consolidated financial position improved by 132.2% from last year’s deficit of P41.6 billion for the same period, a reversal of the deficit target of P88.7 billion.
