The Department of Finance is a government institution that formulates fiscal policy. Its basic function is revenue generation to ensure adequate financing needs of the country . Carrying out this function has led to an expansion of the DOF's role over time. Below are the Bureaus, Agencies and Gov't. Corporations under the supervision of DOF.

    To warrant observance of due process of law clause guaranteed by the Constitution in assessment and collection of Real Property Tax.

    Mandate:

    1) To warrant observance of the due process of law clause mandated by the Constitution in the assessment and collection of real property taxes by the government,

    2) To ensure that the taxpayers are given the opportunity to be heard.
