February 2016– Philippine Finance Secretary Cesar V. Purisima and Peruvian Minister of Economy & Finance Alonso Segura discuss the importance of the Pacific Alliance in advancing the Finance Ministers’ Process agenda, which for the first time has a roadmap with the Cebu Action Plan. The Philippines is actively supporting the Peruvian chairmanship and will host another Financial Infrastructure Development Network (FIDN) in the coming months. On the other hand, Peru expressed their wish to collaborate on DRFI or the PPP Knowledge Portal with a possible pilot project with a few interested APEC economies from ASEAN and the Pacific Alliance. Purisima, for his part, pledged the Philippines’ full support in Peru’s chairmanship of the APEC FMP this year.
